| Colonial Heights Plan, Mount Lebanon, site of the former Abbott farm. In 1924, Edward and Elizabeth Jacob Abbott sold the farm to Howard B. Salkeld, a developer who layed out the plan for the Colonial Heights neighborhood. The Abbott farm house stood at the corner of Meadowcroft and Arden until 1963.
